Agenda Warm-Up Reading “No Lunch Left Behind” 5-Day Meal Plans Exit Ticket

Warm-Up List all of the healthy foods that you regularly eat. Explain why you like them.

“No Lunch Left Behind” by Alice Waters & Katrina Heron Open your books to page 83. Annotate as we read: Underline ways the author suggests that school lunches can be made healthier

5-Day Meal Plan What foods should you eat throughout the week? Try and remember what you ate for each meal throughout the weekend (Friday- Sunday Night). Write down what you consumed and how much.

One Day Meal Plan With your group, you will create a 1-Day Meal plan that will have healthy, balanced lunches. It must be able to be produced on a large scale (think of all the students on our campus) It must follow the MyPlate guidelines (next slide).
