Lab 2: Density Determinations Hand in to TA: Pre-lab, Mass/Volume report, Individual Group Contribution Forms. Densities: Solids (reg- and irreg-shaped [30 g Pb]) Liquids (water, unknown, 100-mL grad-cyl) Salt Solutions (Sodium Citrate, Na3C6H5O7)

Making Salt Solutions Calculate theoretical amounts of salt and water to make salt-w/w-% solutions (Total 25 grams). Separately weigh salt on weighing-paper (record) and water in small beaker (previously weighed). Mix salt in water and stir to make homogeneous solution. Re-weigh solution/beaker to get solution mass. Place solution in grad-cylinder to measure density.

Determine W% Unknown from your experiment line.
