Symbiosis

Symbiosis Symbiosis is a close ecological relationship between the individuals of two different species.

Commensalism one species benefits and the other species is not affected. **EX – a host provides a home or transportation for an organism **EX – Spanish moss – tree not affected by moss

Mutualism Both species benefit EX – Humans & pets, Flowers & pollination EX – an Egyptian plover in the mouth of a crocodile.

Parasitism 1 organism benefits, the other is harmed EX – Tick on a dog EX – Tapeworms in humans
