FUTURE PLANS 44% of Latinas interviewed are planning to attend a four year university after accomplishing high school graduation 54% of Latinas are planning to attend a community college, out of those only 68% plan to transfer to a four year university It is phenomenal that 98% of the senior Latinas surveyed plan to further their education.

COLLEGE PREPARATION 90% out of 80 seniors will be completing the A-G requirements 41% are currently enrolled in AP courses while 59% are not

Is our school supportive? Out of those surveyed 69% said they receive the majority of financial aid information from their counselor such as: *FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) *Scholarships *Loans *Cal Grants *Fee waivers for college entrance exams 65% have met with their counselors 15 minutes or more 69% reported meeting multiple times Out of 80 senior Latinas, 39% of them are not aware of college counseling at our campus

Recommendations SCHOOL STATE PROGRAMS Enroll higher percentage of students in college preparatory courses that will qualify students to pursue a career in medicine. Extend after school tutoring hours and incorporate additional college prep tutorials that will address topics of financial aid and college life to underclassmen. STATE Promote an academic path to citizenship for undocumented students. (Dream Act and AB540) Funding to incorporate SAT and ACT as a summer school preparation course PROGRAMS Various programs are offered to students to help them academically, such as: *AVID *ROP *Upward Bound *AP Courses *IB Program *Link Crew
