FUTURE PLANS 44% of Latinas interviewed are planning to attend a four year university after accomplishing high school graduation 54% of Latinas are planning to attend a community college, out of those only 68% plan to transfer to a four year university It is phenomenal that 98% of the senior Latinas surveyed plan to further their education.

Out of those surveyed 69% said they receive the majority of financial aid information from their counselor such as: *FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) *Scholarships *Loans *Cal Grants *Fee waivers for college entrance exams 65% have met with their counselors 15 minutes or more 69% reported meeting multiple times Out of 80 senior Latinas, 39% of them are not aware of college counseling at our campus

Recommendations SCHOOL STATE PROGRAMS Enroll higher percentage of students in college preparatory courses that will qualify students to pursue a career in medicine. Extend after school tutoring hours and incorporate additional college prep tutorials that will address topics of financial aid and college life to underclassmen.
