Notice also how most of these visions end up in the very last days, the period just before and including Christ’s return. That’s the connection with the Book of Revelation. Outline of Daniel 12 Prophecies of the Great Tribulation and the Resurrection (vv. 1-4) The first four verses of chap. 12 continue the message that was begun by the great angel back in 10:20. Chronology of the Tribulation (vv. 5-13) The remainder of the chapter describes Daniel’s interaction with another angel in his vision, and provides more chronological detail about Daniel’s 70th week.
