Disturbing a Chemical Reaction Online Warm-up

Set-up solution concentrations and calculate the concentrations of all four substances at equilibrium. Make a sketch of what a graph of the concentrations will look like as the reaction runs to equilibrium. Increase substance A’s concentration, calculate the new concentrations and compare them to the previous equilibrium concentrations. Explain in terms of Le Chatelier’s Principle how the reaction equilibrium will respond in terms of collision theory. 5. Make a new sketch (on the same graph) showing how the concentrations change.
