Psychological Barrier girls Created by: Alana, Caitlyn, Jayden, and Yaden

Psychological barrier description The beliefs oneself has about themselves or others pertaining to their ability, potential,or personal opinions. Psychological barriers are also called mental blocks or limiting beliefs, they are things you tell yourself or have come to believe that hold you back. They can also prevent you from doing the best possible at your job by making quick judgements about others. This is an unhealthy way of thinking.

Examples of barriers If you never follow your dreams and instead accept that you're destined to be unhappy. While informing somebody about something yet they speak a different language, a barrier is happening, causing difficulty between you and the other person. As somebody who strongly believes something, somebody tries to tells you different, however you will not accept it or and will do anything to avoid the truth. Smoking is a bad habit however somebody who enjoys it will ignore this if someone tells them that their smoking led to lung cancer. They will avoid the fact and believe that is not what it is actually caused from. Explain the chart as well

How can Health care workers Maneuver around barriers Health care workers can maneuver around barriers by keeping an open mind about their patients. They have to prevent themselves from making quick judgements about patients based on appearances. Also, if somebody's appearance is different you have to be aware of their situation and not jump to conclusions.
