Chapter 12 Hatchet Anticipation Response– After reading chapters10 and 11 make one specific prediction and ask one specific question that you have.     

Chapter 12 Hatchet Citing textual evidence pg. 111– Use textual evidence to illustrate the spear as well as labeling its features as they are described in the text.  

Chapter 12 Hatchet Making an inference pg. 112– “He had to “invent” the bow and arrow—he almost laughed as he moved out of the water and put his shoes on.” explain why the word “invent” is in quotation marks and what he was laughing about in the passage.

Chapter 12 Hatchet In your opinion ch.12– At the end of chapter 12 Brian has gone from very optimistic and excited about his survival progress and he is suddenly thrown into ultimate sadness after he misses signaling the plane flying over. Explain a time when you quickly went from very excited to very upset.
