Parts of the Earth Earth´s Atmosphere is a gaseosus layer that surrounds the whole planet. Earth´s Geosphere is the solid part of the Earth. Earth´s Hydrosphere includes all the water that exists on the Earth.

Parts of the Earth Another important part is the BIOSPHERE. It is the part of the Earth where we can find living organisms like plants and animals.

Living things and life processes There are many different types of LIVING THINGS. All of them perform BASIC LIFE PROCESSES. The three basic life processes are: Interaction Nutrition Reproduction

Life processes Interaction All living things detect information about their enviroment. They react to this information in different ways.

Life processes Reproduction Living things can create new members of their own species. Different organisms reproduce in different ways.

Life processes Nutrition All living things take nutrients from their enviroment. These nutrients give them energy and allow them to grow and develop.

They perform the basic life processes Human beings They perform the basic life processes Interaction - We use our senses to detect information - We comunicate with each other Nutrition We breathe air We drink water and eat food We eliminate waste products Reproduction We are born We have children Mothers produce milk for their babies

Questions and videos Questions! Videos! 1 - Which are the three basic life processes? 2 - What is the interaction? 3 - What is the reproduction? 4 - What is the nutrition? 5 - What do you know about human nutrition? Videos! Answers 1 - The three basic life processes are interaction, reproduction and nutrition. 2 – It is the relation between animals and their enviroment. 3 - It is the creation of new members. It can be in different ways. 4 - It is how animals eat. 5 - Humans breathe air, drink water, eat food and they eliminate products.
