Module 2 State: This is the WMD operations segment of the State of Ohio HazMat/WMD Training pyramid. You should have already had your HazMat Awareness level, WMD Awareness level training and HazMat Operations level training. This course is the next step in First Responder training Instructor Notes

ODP Standards Module 2 Office of Domestic Preparedness First Responder Guidelines Performance-Offensive (Technician) Level Discuss the background and prerequisites. Show the guidelines and explain how they apply to each type of responder. These are the course objectives for the module. Hazardous materials courses-including basic, operations, and technician level courses-are eligible for support through SLGCP funds only if the course fully addresses the hazardous materials sections included in the ODP Emergency Responder Guidelines and the ODP Homeland Security Guidelines for Prevention and Deterrence.
