The Book of Acts can be summarized in Acts 1:8, “On the Road with Paul and Barney” Acts 13-14 The Book of Acts can be summarized in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

“On the Road with Paul and Barney” Acts 13-14 Today, we begin our study of the “ends of the earth” section of this exciting book!

“On the Road with Paul and Barney” Acts 13-14 The Men: Paul, Barnabas and John Mark - were selected by the Holy Spirit and commissioned by their home church in Antioch to communicate the Gospel, or “Good News,” of Jesus to people beyond Judea. (Acts 13:2-3)

“Paul’s First Mission Trip” Acts 13-14 The Return and Report: Back through the same towns and ending at Syrian Antioch Acts 14:26-28 “From Attalia they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. And they stayed there a long time with the disciples.

God chose to communicate that message powerfully through Spirit-led people like Paul and Barnabas who’s lives He had changed. This is called a personal testimony. What’s yours?
