They are Mounties, or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police They are Mounties, or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They are also known as the RCMP. The Mounties is one of the most recognizable Canadian symbols as it was always featured in Hollywood movies, especially between the 1920s and 1940s.
