If you are on day 2, you’ll need a beaker with water and a beaker with soap. You need the following in your notebook: Hypothesis, Conclusion, Research Summary on water cohesion/tension, list independent variable, dependent variable, and constants. Graphs and tables with your data and all other team data. Based on your research, your hypothesis should look something like this: “If a penny does not have soap on it’s surface, then I will be able to add more drops of water to the surface of the penny.” *You can also state the opposite if you feel that soap won’t make a difference.
