Kids’ Chance Provides Scholarships

We Believe We envision a time when all children impacted by a parent’s work related injury or death can pursue their educational dreams without financial burden.

Who We Are Kids’ Chance has grown and evolved to become a diverse group of employers, insurers, labor organization representatives, state government officials, medical care providers, and both plaintiff and defense attorneys.

I have just been so grateful I have just been so grateful. This scholarship has definitely eased some of the burden of college costs for me – I will be graduating next year. Sarah J. Kids’ Chance of Michigan

History Robert Clyatt, a workers’ compensation attorney from Valdosta, Georgia, founded the first Kids’ Chance organization in 1988. Subsequently, Kids’ Chance of Maryland was established in 1996. Kids’ Chance of America was incorporated in 2007.

In 2014: 19 State Kids’ Chance Organizations Today: 43 State Organizations and Affiliate Members

“Thank you to Kids’ Chance for helping to turn my dreams into a reality.” Erika Kids’ Chance of Arizona

Planning for the Future Initiative The goal of this initiative is to identify eligible applicants regardless of age so that we can contact them when the time to apply for college arrives. There is a printed card and online form.

Kids’ Chance Awareness Week Awareness Week will take place November 12-16, 2018. Activities and media outreach throughout the country will be focused on this week to achieve greater visibility.

How You Can Help Become an advocate for Kids’ Chance and help spread the word so that every child in need due to a parent’s work injury knows that Kids’ Chance is here to help.

Thank You We are extremely grateful to our donors, volunteers and advocates. Without their generous support, none of our accomplishments would be possible.

Thank You to Our National Partners
