Reflection Questions By: Sulemani Johnson

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? Our  music videos genre is Inspiration and determination Myles tries his best to achieve his goal after a heartbreaking defeat to Tomi. He is determined to defeat him so he works hard,  though he is ultimately unable to beat Tomi  he showed hard work and determination. Our project however differs from most motivational music videos which usually shows the main character as the victor ours however was more realistic in my opinion it shows that in order to succed in your goals  you need to work hard and though you may fail you need to keep trying . Our targeted Audience is ambitious people aiming high showing them the path to to success is not easy.

How does your products engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text ? Our music video connects with the gathering of people in light of the fact that amid the montage they wind up noticeably anxious to see the accomplishment of the fundamental character. They make a desire for the great finale .They assume that it will be him accomplishing his objective and celebrating his victory, a feeling of fulfillment. At the point when that doesn't occur it is engaging since they are caught off guard. In addition, with the media, the general population  will appear to discover other individuals' disappointments humoring which is another reason for them  to appreciate it.

How did your production skills develop throughout this project? I wasn’t a big part of the production for  this project .I definitely learned a lot from rom and after we lost him for a week and we could do much in the production and editing it made us realize how much we needed him in order to complete our project as a result we made sure we knew how to produce and edit our videos.  To make us as effective as possible.  I learned how to mute the sounds of the video and add music into a video this project and Rom’s absance played a large role in my Imovie education.

How did you integrate technologies-software, hardware and online- in this project? We didn't use many items for this video which i’m proud of since it turned out decent . We use Mrs Desantis camera , a flash drive, a computer, and Imovie in order to make our video. However, we depended heavily on these and This class has taught us so much about being a film maker teaching us how to make certain shots and angles allowing for us to make your audience feel a certain way our teacher advice and guidance allowed us to be more effective in your video production especially the editing without her advice the video would have definitely been of lower quality. I see us going nowhere but up we are learning and putting everything we learn into our videos and putting in the effort to boot.
