. Who We Are PIL is a Nigerian agro allied company established in 2005 to market cassava produce but later expanded its business line to include farm development and production of food grade starch from cassava PIL was established to elevate the business of farming in rural areas by creating a production value chain for farm produce using innovative processes. The company held its first out-grower programme in 2012 and have created a supply chain involving up to 5,000 farm families both from the outgrowers’ programme , Marketers, the laborers, the traders, the transporters, the retail input suppliers. We currently produce High Quality Cassava Starch 15,000 mt per year, High Quality Cassava Flour 6,000 mt per year, Garri 3,500 mt per year.

Success Story Establishment of 10 nucleus estates Establishment of 10 tons per day garri factory Improved livelihood of rural farmers Increase in number of Outgrowers farmers As part of her Corporate Social Responsibility, Psaltry International extended her electricity to the neighboring community of Alayide Supply of 10 units computer to the oldest secondary school in Ado Awaye Installation of solar lights to all the 10 nucleus estates.

FINANCING CHALLENGES/NEED There is a serious challenge in acquiring cheaper source of finance to expand our production line due to the pressure from the emerging market. Accessing cheaper source of fund for our increasing number of outgrowers. Currently we need about $3 million to expand into the new emerging markets with new products.
