(...resisting mediocrity, affirmed in reciprocity) Loving God (...resisting mediocrity, affirmed in reciprocity) Commitment… Confession… “God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.” 1 John 4:15 Abide- accept or act in accordance with (a rule, decision, or recommendation)

Loving God (you remember what you said?...last night?) Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church, We have not done your will, We have broken your law, We have rebelled against your love, We have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Loving God (meaning must accompany method) For Example: Communion Critique *Not simply doing, but dedicating John 4:23-25 *Not simply celebration, but recommitment Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 *Ritual or relationship (right way or right heart?) *Preference of program over process passive vs. active entity process is program in execution holistic (intimately interconnected) transformation
