Summer/ Season Expectations Consistent Attendance Excused absence for illness, family vacations, and REQUIRED school functions Be punctual- be ready to start practice at the scheduled time Attitude- Come prepared to work hard Eat and drink- proper nutrition and hydration Honest and open communication- my “door” is always open If there is ever a question have your student-athlete talk to me first

Additional Team Training/ Team Bonding Hill training- Saturdays July 21st- Bolsa Chica Wetlands July 28th- Crystal Cove August 4th- Peters Canyon August 11th- Crystal Cove August 18th- Peters Canyon Long Runs- Mondays (Varsity only) August 6th- Santa Ana riverbed August 13th- Newport beach back bay trail August 20th- Huntington Beach August 27th- Bolsa Chica Wetlands

Big Bear Camp Top 8 boys and top 8 girls as determined by time trial (July 23rd) Must make arrangements to run early if you cannot make it on that day Seniors with at least three years experience (including senior year) AND demonstrates the ability to handle the rigorous altitude training involved as determined by the coaches. All student-athletes who qualify must have consistent attendance leading up to camp 4 days, 3 nights leaving Aug 21st and arriving home Aug 24th Cost: $150 per student-athlete

Summer Program Requirements Required Paperwork- Summer registration packet- DUE JUNE 6th to PHS office Athletic clearance packet- DUE JULY 30th Summer registration fee ($50) Supplies- Running shoes Water/Gatorade Watch (recommended)

Summer Practice Schedule July 9th – July 28th (summer program) Monday through Friday from 8:30- 10:30 (Varsity until 11) Meet at Pacifica high school track Saturdays (Varsity) 7:30- arrival (optional for all others) July 30th (official season begins) July 30th through August 25th: Monday-Friday 8:30-10:30 (Var until 11) August 27th through end of season: Monday-Friday 3-5:30 Saturday: Varsity practice when we don’t race
