Help on the Test

Cyanoacrylate (Superglue fuming) whitish -reacts with water and other possible fingerprint constituents (carboxylate moiety is the primary initiator) Ninhydrin: purplish – reacts with amino acids from the latent prints. Silver nitrate: greyish - reacts with sodium chloride (salt) present in most latent fingerprints Powders and Iodine: adhere to both water and fatty deposits

Order to use them: Iodine Ninhydrin Silver Nitrate Powders may be used before ninhydrin and after Cyanoacrylate
