We advise parents visit the listed sites and get help and information. We are always available if assistance is needed. http://www.kids.gov http://www.sparky.org#/Sparky http://kidsafetystore.com Continued Practice: Practicing behavioral, social and academic skills with your child throughout the summer is critical. Reading, writing and practicing arithmetic computation processes such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are needed if children are to succeed. Please designate one hour daily where your child is reading, writing and practicing math skills as this will help in developing their skills. All students are required to complete homework packets! Closing Thoughts: As years end approaches I thank each of you for making our community and Oakman Elementary a wonderful place to live and learn. As nothing is perfect I extend my appreciation for your patience and understanding throughout the year. Your unwavering support continues to be needed and welcomed. I thank you for making Oakman Elementary the special place that it is and look forward to next year where current initiatives will continue improving classroom instruction, student achievement and parent involvement. Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing have a safe, enjoyable and restful summer vacation. Peace be upon YOU! The key is not to prioritize what's on the schedule, but to schedule your priorities.
