San Antonio/Austin overnight Field Experience Introductory Information  -The overnight field experience is Thursday March 19 to Friday March 20. -The buses are leaving at 6:30am on March 19, so the students need to have a ride to school that day. -We will arrive back to QVMS between 8pm and 9pm on Friday March 20. Student need a ride home. -The cost of this year’s trip is $129. As noted on the slip, the students can make payments. Either the entire amount ($129) or the first payment ($70) is due by January 15th. Final payment is due by February 27th. Students are to return the permission slip and money to their Texas History teacher. -This is our fourth annual overnight field experience. All 7th grade GT students have attended this event the past three years.  -The students are not missing school; we are taking school with us to San Antonio and Austin.   - For the fourth year in a row our hotel is the La Quinta (Convention Center location) in downtown San Antonio, 303 Blum Street. -More information and details will be forthcoming (final itinerary, chaperone duties, etc.) as we get closer to the event date. -If the parents have any questions about the field experience they can contact Mr. Romero and/or Miss Lee through school email. 
