Locate your preferred sources. 1 book 1 internet source 1 encyclopedia Keep a log of the sources you use to find information. This will help you refer back to the books and articles that were most useful to you. (Working Bibliography)

Use an index if one is available. A table of contents is less useful, but an index will give you exact page numbers and save you time. An index may have a cross-reference. For example, if you look up APHRODITE, you may see a note that says, SEE VENUS. Venus is her Roman name, so look up Venus in the index. If you struggle to find information in your sources, try looking up your god/goddesses ROMAN name.

Be sure you are using a RELIABLE webpage when you look for your internet source. The best ones end in.gov.edu I have several listed on the board above the computers. Remember that the encyclopedias are in ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Some have letters on the spine, and some have actual words (Britannica).
