Presentation transcript:

GCSE Business 2017 On a weekly basis students should review the work covered in class and use some of the following methods: - Mind maps Revision cards Cartoon strips to remember scenarios Complete ‘workbook’ tasks on topic areas List questions that they have about the topic and ask their teacher Once students have covered a topic area they can attempt past paper questions (there will be limited questions for the new specification but the old questions will be suitable) Complete any homework that is set The revision guides can be purchased from Mrs. Ozturk for £2.75 and the workbooks can also be purchased for £2.50 Encourage your child to observe and think about the examples of business strategies all around them – adverts, promotions, pricing techniques, employment examples, innovation, production, finance and so many more!

Two exams at the end of Year 11, GCSE Business 2017 We will be starting the course with a project to give the students a ‘model’ to refer to throughout the course. If your child needs further support in Business ask them to speak to us, or get in touch, and we will help them. As students learn more theory we will attempt sample questions and modelling good answers in class. Please encourage your child to attempt exam questions when revising for class tests and to ask for further help if they are unsure of how to answer questions. Two exams at the end of Year 11, no coursework
