At first the sums seemed very long and tricky, but practicing with my partner to make sure we didn't miss any steps helped. My new learning was how to set it out neatly so my work is clear and I can carry numbers without getting confused. I got two questions wrong where I forgot to add some numbers I had carried - my partner reminded me that I should cross these numbers out when I have added them to help with this. My next step it to make sure I set my work out clearly every time.
