Citizens’ Climate Lobby Minnesota Conference April 7, 2018

Welcome and Wins

Lobbying 34 meetings with members of Congress and their staff 4 town halls attended 1,115 personal letters to members of Congress - Northfield had 596 personal letters to Congress last year!! - Two Harbors is leading the group so far this year with 8 personal letters to Congress.

Lobbying Grand Canyon Project Updates: CD2 has 116 callers with 268 calls being made in the last 9 months CD3 has 47 callers with 35 calls being made in the last 3 months Senate has 40 callers with 15 calls being made in the last month Lobbying

Media Two Harbors had 28 media related field reported activities! Bruce and Alan hosted an 8 series radio program on climate! And obviously we have local celebrities from the Saving Snow documentary, Paul and Mindy!

Outreach - Duluth had 24 outreach events last year!! Northfield has already had 8 outreach events this year 17 Saving Snow screenings 100 attendees at the Bemidji Saving Snow screening

Most Field Reports - Northfield had the most field reports in 2017 - Two Harbors has the most field reports so far for 2018 with 16 field reports

Caucuses 20 resolutions presented at Democratic caucuses 3 resolutions presented at Republican caucuses All passed precinct level Caucuses - Ask people which resolutions are going on to the next level
