Program People The People Specific Programme1 of the 7th Framework Programme (2007 to 2013) acknowledges that one of the main competitive edges in science and technology is the quantity and quality of its human resources. To support the further development and consolidation of the European Research Area Specific Programme has an overall budget of over EUR 4.7 billion over the seven years of FP7 People work programme represents a continuation and consolidation of the Marie Curie actions.

Cilj programa Overall strategic objective is to make Europe more attractive for researchers. It aims to strengthen, quantitatively and qualitatively, the human potential in research and technology in Europe, by stimulating people to take up the profession of a researcher, encouraging European researchers to stay in Europe, and attracting to Europe the best researchers from the entire world.

Activity 1: Initial Training of Researchers Marie Curie Action: Initial Training Networks (ITN)

Activity 2: Life-long Training and Career Development 2.1 Marie Curie Action: Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development (IEF) 2.2 Marie Curie Action: Reintegration Grants (RG) This action will be implemented by two sub-actions, the European Reintegration Grants (ERG) and International Reintegration Grants (IRG). 2.3 Marie Curie Action: Co-funding of Regional, National and International Programmes (COFUND)

Activity 3: Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways Nema poziva u 2010. godini The 2009 work programme included a call for proposals for Industry-Academia Partnerships & Pathways (IAPP). It should be noted that while there is no call for this action foreseen in the 2010 work programme, it is envisaged to publish an IAPP call in autumn 2010, subject to the adoption of the work programme 2011.

Activity 5: Specific Actions 5.1 Researchers' Night The Researchers NIGHT action will be on Friday, 24, September 2010, and will be the next occasion for a European wide public and media event for the promotion of research careers.
