Data Steward – Data Cleansing Address Validation – Batch Address Cleansing Used by Data Steward and Bulk import to cleanse addresses within registry and interface data. Data Cleansing Batch Definition and Process Allows the user to define batch criteria rules to narrow down the records in the data cleansing batch Leverages Fusion Data Quality to run a background process to return sets of cleansed records for evaluation Multiple Cleansing Modes Automated mode for rapid cleansing while simulated mode for assisted cleansing by the user Accept/Reject Groups and Individual records User allowed to accept/reject recommendations either at batch, group or individual record level in the simulated mode A Data cleansing batch can be defined by setting batch criteria rules. These rules can be set by selecting various party attribute values to define a subset of records for which the batch is run. Once submitted, the Fusion Data Quality service runs in the background to return sets of records with all addresses verified and also with suggestions against records identified as incorrect for further evaluaton by the Data Steward. For automated (mode) batches, all suggestions by the Fusion Data Quality service are spontaneously accepted without any intervension of the Data Steward. In the simulated mode the suggestions are presented to the Data Steward who has the ability to accept or reject suggestions at the batch, group and individual record level.
