Focus Question: What were the main debates and compromises made at the Constitutional Convention? [Day 2] HW: Write a journal entry in character reflecting on your experience at the Constitutional Convention debate. Be sure to address the questions addressed in the google classroom directions. Submit your journal entry on google classroom.

Questions to consider: How did the experiences of colonial life and the War for Independence influence the way delegates viewed government power? How did the problems that emerged under the Articles of Confederation shape attitudes toward the balance of power between the states and the federal government? Why were the delegates so divided on these particular issues?
