“Cornwall is My Place” Outcomes Key Themes that Emerged on January 29th: The waterfront and especially Lamoureux Park as a major asset. Everything is nearby; the waterfront and downtown are within a short walk or drive. The people are friendly and there is a strong sense of community. The city is vibrant yet quiet, peaceful, and safe. The air quality has improved in Cornwall in recent years, and this has improved quality of life in Cornwall. There are many precedents of good design and planning that we can use to ensure well- planned growth for the future.
