Finding Solutions Cargo containers were converted into temporary housing to serve Mattawa’s farmworker housing need Cargo containers: Not a long term solution; Reaching their limit of usefulness
A Better Solution ORFH secured nearly $3 million from USDA Rural Development Section 514 & 516 farmworker housing programs ORFH also secured over $1 million in additional funding from the Washington State Housing Trust Fund
Esperanza Esperanza, consists of four 2-story buildings; 16 units in Phase 1 Each building contains four units each having two bedrooms

Esperanza Serves low-income, seasonal farmworkers In 2016, assisted over 100 households during the season
