Lab Equipment Set up B: Measure temperature here as close to the center as possible. Hold the flashlight at the edge of the paper. You will be measuring about 2 cm inside the oval of light. Note: Review the video if you need help visualizing the oval hitting the paper. Measure temperature here as close to the center as possible. Approximately 5 cm above the paper.

For that reason black construction paper will be used to see if direct or indirect light absorbs more heat.
