Yorkshire Difficult Airway Workshop Friday, 5 October 2018 Overview This course aims to refresh and update skills in managing the difficult airway and to provide practical hands on experience in techniques outlined in the DAS guidelines. RCoA have awarded 5 CPD points. Course leader Dr Helen Buglass Consultant in ICM & Anaesthesia Venue Education Centre Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield Aimed at All anaesthetists, consultants, NCCG, trainees (ST3 and above) Content Dedicated session on Awake Fibreoptic Intubation. 4 hours of hands on workshops which include: - Nasal fibreoptic intubation (inc. scope trainer, retrograde, Bonfils) Oral fibreoptic intubation (inc ILMA & Aintree/LMA) Cricothyroidotomy/jet ventilation Video/indirect scopes (Glidescope, C-Mach, Airtraq) Paediatric airway Simulator session Case based discussion Bronchoscopy simulator Obstetric airway Course fee £100, includes lunch and refreshments Registration is by application form, available to download from www.midyorks.nhs.uk/mesh Please make cheques payable to The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
