Reviewing and Updating The 5 Year Plan We have introduced a new vision for Highways England. We aim to get customers, staff and supply chain, Home Safe and Well This still means that “no one should be harmed when travelling or working on the strategic road network” We will also place additional focus on wellbeing Key outcome measures will be KSI (Customers), AFR (Supply Chain), Lost Time Incidents & employee absence (HE) There will also be a suite of leading measures This will be supported by a cultural change programme aimed at making Health, Safety and Wellbeing personal

Overturned plant Delivery to site Machine fouled on buckets between tracks Did not stop Was not stopped Fortunately fell verge side

Rollaway vehicle M6 Southbound between J18 & J17. Works vehicle behind the traffic management started rolled along and was caught and recovered at the point it pushed a cone, from an access point, into the edge of lane 1. No one was injured. There was no collision or impact on travelling public. Vehicle was not parked in gear, or handbrake applied.
