(See attached graph) Memorial Hermann Best Practice MH Sugar Land Hospital Patient Food Service At Your Request Room Service Dining® is implemented in Dec. 2006 at MH Sugar Land Hospital The hospital set new standards for quarterly Press Ganey foodservice scores. (See attached graph) 92nd percentile 97th percentile 98th percentile 99th percentile The hospital FANS Dept reduce patient food cost. (See attached graph)

Room Service Process Nursing provides brief introduction to bedside restaurant style menu. Nursing determines patients’ ability to use room service. Patients unable to use room service are provided automatic meal delivery. Patient telephones room service call center and orders meal(s). Diet education is provided by call center hostess.

Room Service Process Patient meals are cooked and assembled to order (restaurant style) using attractive room service style trays. Meals are delivered within 45 minutes of the order or at a specific time requested by the patient.
