Reminder of CPMS Norms/Expectations/Rules Walk on the right side of the hall. Cell phones/electronic devices are not permitted in the halls at any time (exception – before/after school). This includes cordless earbuds. They may be used in the cafeteria during lunch but put away before entering the halls. Need to wear ID at all times (Safety is # 1 concern). Horseplay not permitted at any time. Go from point A to Point b every day (again…safety is #1 concern). Need to follow dress code. Need to be on time to class.

Reminder of CPMS Norms/Expectations/rules Failure to follow any of the norms we discussed in the previous slide, the KISD Student Code of Conduct, or the CPMS Student handbook may result in a discipline referral.

Following norms/rules/expectations is important Reason #1 – safety is our main concern. Reason #2 – Academics should be your focus (you need to pass in order to be promoted to high school). Reason #3 – It’s the right thing to do (Integrity).

Integrity Matters any student who receives ISS (In School Suspension) or OSS (Out of School Suspension) from now (tuesday, March 20, 2018) until the end of the school year (May 31, 2018) will not be able to participate in any of the “upcoming events” that we went over on slide #2.

Refunds No refunds for the field trip/celebration/activities that we discussed will be available after April 2, 2018.

Parent Letter Each of you will receive a parent letter to take home today. A connect ed call and email will go out to your parents letting them know about the letter. If you have any questions, please let us know!
