St. Didymus the seer
Didymus = Thomas = The Twin Born in 313 AD in Alexandria 4 years old, lost vision
For in You, O Lord, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God. (Psalms 38:15) He trusted & loved God He learnt all the letters of the alphabet by himself
St. Athanasius placed him as the head of the Catechetical School of Alexandria in 346AD He was also a good friend of the great St. Anthony, the father of the monks.
St. Didymus wrote 48 books: 20 books on the theology and 28 commentaries on the Old Testament and the New Testament He departed in peace in the year 398AD
