Truth and Safety will Come Isaiah 32:1-8

I. A Different Kind of Relief vs. 1 “…righteousness and…justice.” “He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father David had done. Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses. 2 Kings 18:3,5-6

I. A Different Kind of Relief vs. 1 “…righteousness and…justice.” When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan. Proverbs 29:2 NLT

Things to remember Jesus is our shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, a refreshing stream, and mighty rock that offers shade from the harshest light. The dire problems of our culture or any culture will not be solved by more government programs, more entertainment or more education, or sinful living – the satisfaction needed is for the spirit to be satiated – quenched and filled – Jesus is the living water and the mana come down from heaven. The noble learns to navigate the hazards of this life by biblical spiritual discernment.
