Shevat The Month of Asher One of the twelve tribes of Israel

Asher Jacob’s eighth son, second son with Zilpah Asher means “happy” Genesis 30:13  Then Leah said, “I am happy, for the daughters will call me blessed.” So she called his name Asher. 1. Asher’s Mother was Leah’s maidservant Zilpah. Asher was her second and last child with Jacob. 2. It’s a month of happiness. Tell somebody “Get Happy!” We all like to receive a good word from somebody…let’s look at the blessings spoken over Asher…. ***CLICK***
