Becoming A Leader You have to be born in the family in order be king! Heir: Half-brother Sultan bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud In 2006 a decree was made that created a committee of Saudi princes that will play a role in selecting future Saudi kings, but this new system will not go into effect until after Sultan bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud becomes king.

Citizen Rights Must be Muslim to be citizen. Public practice of any other religion other than Islam is against the law. Men: 21 & older can vote in local elections. Women: Very little freedom Can vote in local elections Cannot drive & must dress modestly. Limited freedom of press & speech.
