Proposed RRM Architecture M/C Application Measurement/Control Application (non-802.11) Control Data Outside of 802.11 RRM Standard Interfaces 802.11 RRM MAC Standardize format/contents of the data interface from RRM to upper layers Define “pull” (polled) and “push” (event driven) interfaces Upper layer entities (M/C Apps) communicate with each other via infrastructure and/or WLAN. Peer-to-peer communication between RRM possible via RRM standard interfaces at least for AP’s. Scope of Control, if any? PHY BB Radio RF Channel
