Look for the white & yellow threads of fungi under the rotting logs As well as moss that may be growing on the logs

Various mushrooms, puff balls and lichens may be found…. …as well as salamanders, baby spiders and insect larvae. A rotting log provides a home for many!!
Even small mammals may be found in or under a rotting log! Such as Voles, Mice & Chipmunks
