Assessment - KS4 Create detailed revision materials for the work we have done so far Ask your teacher for help if you are not sure what works for you The revision materials that you create should be presented in a folder for marking. If you don’t already have one, it means you need to go out and buy a folder! Exam practice; You will also need to complete exam questions as part of your assessment homework. These will be marked. You should aim to match or go above your target grade for your answers

Year 10- Assessment HW Create detailed revision materials on the following topics: The difference between primary and secondary data The difference between quantitative and qualitative data What is meant by the terms validity, reliability and representativeness Different types of sampling The practical issues that sociologists face when choosing which research method to use The ethical issues that sociologists face when choosing which research method to use. You also need to answer the following questions: Explain the difference between overt research and covert research(4 marks) Explain one disadvantage of using covert participant observation (4 marks) Identify one form of interview that a sociologist could use and explain why this may be better than another type of interview (6 marks)
