JACEP 2015;1:478-485 Contrast-Enhanced CT Images With Multiplanar Reconstruction of the LAA Orifice (A) Modified sagittal view approximating a 60° to 90° view on TEE, allowing identification of the LAA and subsequent multiplanar reconstruction of the orifice. (B) A relatively circular orifice is demonstrated, with low eccentricity index of 0.06 and irregularity index of 0.03. (C) An eccentric and irregular orifice is demonstrated, with high eccentricity index of 0.34 and irregularity index of 0.13.
