Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book By Poppy lally

Once upon a time… …there was a boy called Charlie Cook who sat down and read his favourite book. This book contains a pirate, goldilocks and the three bears, a knight called Sir Percy, a frog, a bird competition, a girl who saw a flying saucer, a wicked jewel thief, a greedy crocodile, and a ghost. All of the characters read their favourite book in the story.

I liked the picture of the pug because I have my own pug called Hank. I liked that it had lots of different short stories. My favourite one of the stories was the one about the jewel thief because he happily read his favourite book in jail. What I liked

How I think they could have improved the book They could have made some of the stories a bit longer as they are quite short. I didn’t find the frog and the crocodile stories very exciting.

My favourite character My favourite character was the jewel thief because I found his story funny that he got thrown into jail and then was happy reading his favourite book.
