Columbian Exchange Series of complex societal and environmental actions between Europe and the Americas begun with Columbus’s first voyage In other words…how Europe and the New World started trading their goods with each other

Global Age Aka Age of Exploration First time in human history where all continents (except Australia and Antarctica) developed a system of trade and communications with one another Mainly China, Ottoman Empire, Africa, American colonies

Commercial Revolution Period of: Economic expansion Colonialism Mercantilism Began with Crusades, when Europeans rediscovered spices & silk from Asia This developed a new desire for trade Explorers started looking for new trade routes to Asia (India & China are in Asia)
