Her first day at Central High, Little Rock Arkansas Elizabeth Eckford Her first day at Central High, Little Rock Arkansas

First day - Elizabeth was part of the nine students entering an all white school. On the first day of her integrated high school, she was the only one who actually showed up. She had tried twice as said in an interview before she had given up and took a bus home.

Elizabeth Eckford

bravery - Elizabeth Eckford had a lot of bravery. She had done what most teenagers and adults would probably never think of. For example she had faced racism first hand and was not allowed in her school. She made a huge impact in in history for her bravery and courage.

importance Her importance in history are that she was part of the reason why racism was put to an end. Knowing that if she moves away, comes back in like 10 years she would get treated the same. Surprisingly she came back anyway – which is being brave.
