Rosa Parks By Hayden Sackett

Early Life Rosa Parks was born on February 4 1913. She grew up in Alabama She had one little brother Her school for all black people had only one room. She married Raymond Parks in 1932. She had to live with segregation which means separation of races.

Fame Rosa Parks would not give up her seat on the bus to a white person. She helped start a boycott to not ride the bus and progress was made. The boycott was led by Martin Luther King Jr.

Character Traits She was persistent because she never gave up for everyone getting along. Rosa Parks was brave because she wouldn’t give up her seat even when she knew she would get in trouble.

Major Accomplishments She started the bus boycott. Did not have to give up there seats any more. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. decided to fight against segregation.

Fun Facts Rosa Parks made many speeches She started a bus boycott that went on for almost a year She was fired from her job. Rosa Parks died in Detroit on October 24, 2005
