Environmental Change V: 1 Biodiversity Sustainability

Environmental Change V: 1 Biodiversity - the variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem Sustainability - meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs

Environmental Change V: 1 You will work with your shoulder partner. First, you and your partner will roll the dice to determine which animal species and in what ecosystem will experience environmental change.

Environmental Change V: 1 Next, you and your partner will roll the dice again to determine which environmental change the animal species will experience. Complete the “Animal Traits and Adaptation Prediction” section of Part 1. Then, complete the “Biodiversity and Sustainability Prediction” section by circling the prediction you most agree with and explaining your choice.

Environmental Change V: 1 Using the same animal species and ecosystem from Part 1, you and your partner will now roll the dice to determine the second environmental change your animal and ecosystem will experience. If you rolled a 1, 2, or 3 in Part 1, roll the dice until you get a 4, 5, or 6. If you rolled a 4, 5, or 6 in Part 1, roll the dice until you get a 1, 2, or 3.

Environmental Change V: 1 Finally, complete the “Animal Traits and Adaptation Prediction” section and the “Biodiversity and Sustainability Prediction” section in Part 2.
