3- سموم يا فرارها : حداقل 6 گروه Substance : به کليه موادی اطلاق ميشود که از طريق تاثيرروی سيستم عصبی مرکزباعث تغييرات روانی (رفتار ,تفکر, عواطف, روابط, ...)گردند. بطور کلی سه نوع : 1- مواد مخدر معروف : 12 گروه 2- داروها : حداقل 16 گروه 3- سموم يا فرارها : حداقل 6 گروه

انواع مواد مخدر: 1/Usual substances:Alcohol , amphetamine , cocaine, caffeine , cannabis ,opioids , hallucinogenes inhalant,nicotine,anabolics,phencycledine (PCP) ,S.H.A. 2-داروهايی که ميتوانند اختلالات وابسته به مواد ايجاد کنند : ضد دردها – داروهای بيهوشی – ضد تشنج ها – مواد آنتی کلينر ژيک – آنتی هيستامين ها – داروهای ضد فشار خون و قلبی – ضد پارکينسون – کورتيکوسنزوئيدها – شل کننده های عضلانی,...... 3-سمومی که ميتوانند اختلالات وابسته به مواد ايجاد کنند: فلزات سنگين(سرب- آلومینیم) , سموم موش محتوی استريکنين , گازهای اعصاب اتيلن گليکول , CO , CO2, مواد فرار (Inhialants ) مثل بنزين و رنگ .

S.Intoxication : S.Withdrwal : سندرمی مخصوص به ماده و برگشت پذير که براثر مصرف اخير ماده ای و با ناهنجاريهای روانی يا رفتارهای با رز مشخص ميگردد. S.Withdrwal : سندرمی مخصوص به ماده است که بر اثر قطع يا کاهش ناگهانی بارز مصرف ماده ايجاد , و با ناهنجاريهای رفتار ی, شناختی , و فيزيولوژيک مشخص ميگردد و موجب ناراحتی بالينی بارز يا اختلال عملکرد ميشود.

ضوابط تشخيص اعتياد ((Dependence االگوی ناهنجار مصرف مواد) بمذت 12ماه)که منجر به ناراحتی يا اختلال گردد. با سه ويژگی : 1- Tolerance 2- تظاهرات Withdrawal در موقع قطع 3- مصرف روبفزونی 4- تمايل يا اقدام نا موفق به کنترل يا قطع مواد 5- صرف وقت زياد برای تهيه مواد , مصرف آن يا رهايی از اثرات آن 6- رها کردن امور مهم شخص يا اجتماعی بعلت مصرف مواد 7- ادامه مصرف عليرغم دانش بر مضرات روانی يا فيزيکی آن

ضوابط تشخيص سوء مصرف مواد (S.Abuse ): الگوی ناهنجار مصرف مواد (بمدت یکسال)که منجربه ناراحتی يا اختلالی حداقل با يکی از خصوصيات زيرشود : 1- مصرف مکرر عليرغم شکست در انجام وظايف شغلی, تحصيلی يا خانوادگی 2- مصرف مکرر عليرغم در شرايط مخاطره آميز از نظر فيزيکی (رانندگی ) 3- مصرف مکرر عليرغم بروز مشکلات بين فردی و اجتماعی 4- بروز مکرر مشکلات قانونی وابسته به مواد.
