يا ربّ أوصِلنَا لنزور O’ Lord, Get us to visit

يا ربّ أوصِلنَا تنزور المُصْطَفَى يا ربّ أوصِلنَا تنزور المُصْطَفَى بِطِيبَة واجعَلنَا نتْنَعَّم بالصَّفَا O’ Lord, Get us to visit the Prophet in Taybah & enjoy the peacefulness

طَهَ هادِينَا شَمس المَدِينَة قُرْبُه يِهنِّينَا و عَطَاءُه مَا خَفَا Taha is our Guide, the illumination of Madinah, closeness to him pleases us His blessings are apparent

شُدُّوا المَطِيَّة لِخيرِ البَرِيَّة نزور المدينَة وكَحِّل عِينَيَّا Set your mounts, to visit the best creation, to visit al-Madinah and please my eyes

صَلُّوا صَلُّوا عَليه حِنُّوا حِنُّوا إليه Praise him, indeed praise him with Love to Him

أُوصَل عَبْوَابُه وأدِّي سَلامِي أُوصَل عَبْوَابُه وأدِّي سَلامِي أُوقَف عَـ عتابُه واشرَح غَرامِي I shall reach his doors, offer my salutation stand at the doorstep, express my love

وانْدَه علِيه وانْدَه كُنْ لِي شَفيعًا خَيْرَ الأَنَامِ and call upon him, be my interceder

شُدُّوا المَطِيَّة لِخيرِ البَرِيَّة نزور المدينَة وكَحِّل عِينَيَّا Set your mounts, to visit the best creation, to visit al-Madinah and please my eyes

خَيْرَ العِبادِ حُلْوَ المُحَيَّا نَظْرَة لِفُؤَادِي خُذ بِيَدَيَّ قَلَّ اصْطِبَارِي والشَّوقُ فِيَّا وغَدَا شِعَارِي نَظْرَة إلَيَّ O’ best of mankind, with beautiful looks, a glimpse to my heart, answer my calls, I long for you, but my patience is little

وانْدَه علِيه وانْدَه كُنْ لِي شَفيعًا خَيْرَ الأَنَامِ and call upon him, be my interceder

يا رِياحَ الشَّوْقِ هُبِّي سِرَاعًا واحمِلِي شَوْقِي لِحَيِّ التِّهَامِي وَ اذرِفِي يا عين دِمْعَ الثَكَالَى قُربَ دارِ الحِبِّ خَيْرِ الأَنَامِ O’ Winds, carry my love & longing to where the Prophet lives Shed the tears near where he stays

I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day لَوْ أَنِّي سَاكِنْ بِجْوَار طَهَ هادِينَا المُخْتَار مَا برُوح عنُّه ولو لَحْظَة باقِي عِندُه لَيْل نهَار Only if I lived close to the Prophet, I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day

عِيني بْتِتْمَلَّى بْنُورُه وبِنْسَرّ بِشَمّ عطُورُه عِيني بْتِتْمَلَّى بْنُورُه وبِنْسَرّ بِشَمّ عطُورُه وبِلْقَى خَيْرَات بحُورُه وفَرْحَة وخَيْر وإسْتِبْشَار My eyes will be thrilled & I will be pleased smelling his fragrances, & will find oceans of his blessings, happiness & goodness

I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day لَوْ أَنِّي سَاكِنْ بِجْوَار طَهَ هادِينَا المُخْتَار مَا برُوح عنُّه ولو لَحْظَة باقِي عِندُه لَيْل نهَار Only if I lived close to the Prophet, I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day

طِيبَة بَيْنِي وبَيْنَا دروب وما بتِنْسَى ذِكْرا القلوب فِيهَا المُخْتَار المَحْبُوب عِندُه مَا أَحلَى الأنْوَار Between me & Taybah long distances, but hearts never forget it, In it is the chosen beloved, how beautiful are the illuminations by him

I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day لَوْ أَنِّي سَاكِنْ بِجْوَار طَهَ هادِينَا المُخْتَار مَا برُوح عنُّه ولو لَحْظَة باقِي عِندُه لَيْل نهَار Only if I lived close to the Prophet, I wouldn’t leave him for a moment, and by him I would stay night & day

باقِي عِندُه لَيْل نهَار I shall stay close to him near the Prophet night & day
